We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our team. The role will report to our Digital Marketing Manager, working alongside our Content Marketing & Social Media Executive as part of the marketing team. The successful candidate will have experience working across digital marketing and ecommerce channels, with good knowledge of the latest trends, best practices and channel management across paid search, display, and website conversion rate optimisation.
The Role:
- Working across both brands Travel Department and TD active Holidays, Ireland & UK.
- Day to day management and upkeep of our paid search accounts on Google & Bing.
- Managing and optimising our display campaigns across networks such as Google, YouTube, Adroll, and Outbrain.
- Ensuring we align with business goals and campaign targets across all channels.
- Weekly planning, campaign focus setting, budget management and channel performance optimisation.
- Weekly product merchandising across our range of sites and markets to ensure product presentation is optimal, there are no barriers to purchase and offer pages are in line with current campaigns and business needs.
- Support with website campaign setup through offer landing page creation and customer journey mapping.
- Regular analysis of customer journeys, identifying pain points, A/B testing and putting forward solutions to improve conversion rate.
- Support with testing and planning website development. Identifying feature enhancements, site bugs, and ongoing coordination of tasks with our development agency.
- Understanding of analytics, user behaviour metrics and using data to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Track, measure, and report campaign performance against key business goals.
- Working with display creative tools such as Creatopy, Canva, InDesign or Photoshop when necessary to support in display asset creation.
- Active member of the marketing team, supporting campaign planning and execution. Contributing to the creative processes by offering input, providing feedback, and sharing ideas.
Personal Attributes and Skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Is self-motivated, positive attitude and a team player.
- Ability to adapt and stay on top of the latest trends or industry changes.
- Minimum one year experience managing paid search accounts.
- Familiar with managing budgets and optimising spend across paid search and display.
- Strong understanding of CRO best-practice.
- Proficient in excel and loves to work with data.
- Experience optimising customer journeys on an eCommerce website.
- Comfortable working with a CMS.
- Experience working with analytics tools such as Hotjar and Google Analytics.
- Basic understanding of coding, HTML & CSS plus a website’s infrastructure.
- Experience working with Google Ads editor an advantage but not essential.
- Comfortable working with creative tools such as Creatopy, Canva, InDesign or Photoshop is preferred, but not essential.
- A qualification in Digital Marketing is preferred but not essential.
- A background or strong interest in travel & tourism will also be beneficial.
